Josie Pagani joined ChildFund New Zealand as its Chief Executive in November 2023. Josie is a leader in the areas of aid, economic development, trade, and media having worked at several leading aid and development organizations.

Most recently, she worked with the Copenhagen Consensus Centre and several Pacific countries on a locally owned cost benefit analysis of government policies in work funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. From 2016-2022, she served as Executive Director of the New Zealand Council for International Development. Josie serves as Board Chair of Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand and is also a recognized geopolitical & current affairs media commentator and columnist.
