
Brayden Howie’s dedication to children and communities began at age 15 and has guided a decades-long career across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. His experience spans humanitarian work in refugee camps on the Thailand-Myanmar border to developing programs supporting children in North Korea.
Before joining ChildFund, Brayden served as CEO of Action on Poverty, leading efforts to empower marginalised communities through sustainable, practical solutions. A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) with a Master’s in International Public Health from the University of Sydney, Brayden is driven by a simple belief: that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive through collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose.
