Un Enfant par la Main in Haiti
Haiti is the poorest country in the Americas. Ongoing political instability, outbreaks of violence several devastating natural disasters in recent years (earthquakes, hurricanes and a cholera epidemic) all play a role.
Un Enfant par la Main (as Enfants Sans Frontières) has been operating in Haiti since 1974. It works in the areas of education and training; family farming and sustainable development; empowerment of local organizations.
