Educo has worked in Benin since 2001, working through local partners to implement projects focused on education and child protection.

Most recently, Benin and neighboring countries have faced an influx of thousands of people fleeing Burkina Faso, due to attacks against civilians and security forces by jihadist groups.

Educo's programs are focused on ensuring the protection and education of the most vulnerable children in the municipalities of Cotonou, Porto-Novo and Sô-Ava. We are also implementing a birth certificate registration program in Alibori and Borgou, and working to improve student school performance in Bembèrèkè, N'Dali and Sinendé.
