ChildFund New Zealand in Kenya
ChildFund works in the rural setting of Emali, home to two tribes: the Maasai and the Kamba.
Equally as strong in their individual cultural and social norms, ChildFund supports both communities to meet their different aspirations. Communities are made up of experienced crop farmers and pastoralists, and talented craftspeople.
Our work in Kenya has focused on early childhood education, improving family nutrition and health, child protection, and increasing household incomes.
