Yer is 17 years old, and has been involved with ChildFund Pass It Back for three years. “I am talkative, I like to smile, I speak with a loud voice, and I can be described as fiery. When I meet somebody I like to call out their names and make them smile.”

As a coach for team ‘Dragon’, Yer has many fond memories. “My favorite time with ChildFund Pass It Back is at the annual Coach Trainings each summer.

“I love it when all the coaches from Vientiane and Xieng Khouang Provinces are together, as I meet so many friends, both those I have known before as well as the new coaches!”

As a coach, Yer has also benefited from learning a range of new skills, including leadership and planning. “The thing I love the most is being a coach group leader, as I am given more responsibility than I have ever had before.

“For example, during the village group competitions, I handle all the logistics and planning. It’s exciting because it’s a new experience for me!”
