Advocacy & Policy Advisor

As ChildFund Alliance’s Advocacy & Policy Advisor, Chris coordinates global, regional and national advocacy strategy across the Alliance membership and helps develop campaigns to achieve the Alliance’s strategic objectives. Chris represents ChildFund Alliance with the Global Coalition to End Child Poverty, the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, and the Joining Forces Child Rights Now initiative.

Prior to joining the Alliance in late 2019, Christopher serves as an advocacy strategist with nearly 20 years of experience advising politicians, nonprofit groups and Fortune 500 CEOs. His work included highly-targeted public affairs strategies for global agriculture and biofuels companies, as well as earned media campaigns for state and local public interest groups.

A licensed attorney with a certification in energy law, Chris has written extensively on climate change, energy security and justice, and the impact of energy megaprojects on marginalized groups. He holds a JD from Vermont Law School, an M.A. in Communications from the University of Miami and a B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University.
