At ChildFund Australia, we want every child to be able to say: “I am safe. I am educated. I am heard. I have a future.”

ChildFund Australia

Headquarters: Australia
Active: in 36 countries

ChildFund Australia is an independent international development organization working to reduce poverty for children in developing communities. We partner to create community and systems change, which enables children and young people in vulnerable situations to assert and realize their rights.

At ChildFund Australia, we want every child and young person to be able to say: “I am safe. I am educated. I contribute. I have a future.”

We directly manage and implement programs with a range of local partners in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, and other countries in the Pacific. We also manage projects delivered by partner organizations throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

ChildFund Australia is a member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network of 11 organizations assisting nearly 23 million children and their families in 70 countries. ChildFund Australia is a registered charity, a member of the Australian Council for International Development, and fully accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which manages the Australian Government’s overseas aid program.
